65 MPs write to Barack Obama not to grant Narendra Modi a visa. Do we vote them to interfere into others' affairs or ours?

40 MPs from Loksabha and 20 from Rajyasabha have pleaded with
President Barack Obama not to grant Gujarat Chief Minister, Narendra
Modi an US visa! Not a day goes literally without a statement from
partisans across the political hue on Modi saying he is no threat to
us, he doesn't symbolize bigger issue, we aren't afraid/worried of
him, he is just another CM, no national leader, etc.. Alright. Then
why this acts of impatience and intolerance? Don't they suffice enough
to say how impatient our leaders have become about 'rise of Modi'?

There is no problem in writing to US or China. Everybody has a right
to it and they can do whatsoever permissible under constitution and
constitution permits it. Issue to me is larger than what it appears on
surface. They can write to Obama, in fact have plausible right to do
so. But why only Obama and why only Narendra Modi and his visa issue.
Why not anything else? And what if Modi gets an US visa? Why do you've
problem with anything that shouldn't bother you really? Why don't you
concentrate on things that shall matter to you more? Like chaotic
problems your constituencies face, the problems your state faces, the
issues that concern/bother your electorals? Why not solve them first
and then jump into affairs of another country!

If your constitution gives you right to write to any President then it
enforces on you certain duties as representative of a group of people
too. Have you took few minutes off your 'busy-schedule' to know what
concerns them? Most will answer with a 'no'!

How many among the 65 MPs have written to our President, our Prime
Minister, their CMs regarding issues that must concern them, the one's
their constituencies face from decades!

Owaisi saab too is one among the many who have signed that letter. It
surprises one about him writing over someone's 'secular' credentials
when his own acts shame whole line of humanity spare secularism for
instance.

I'm no Congress bigot nor do I wish to sign in into BJP's affairs but
when our own MPs whom we have voted to power to listen into us and be
our voice, start acting aliens to our issues and act as moths-to-fire
on issues that seldom concern them but attract eyeballs then it starts
to boil us.

Write to US, China, Pakistan or someone on Mars. It's absolutely fine.
But only when you bother to take note of issues that you are entitled
to and bound by constitution in listening into. And if things don't
change and you try doing the same nonsense stuff then we know how,
where and when to press few things that bother you!!

Remember elections are round the corner and voters have short term
memory not long term!
Alright and be safe till than.
