Why settle with mere goal & aim, when you actually could leave behind a legacy out of your vision and ideas!!!

"Whats your aim?" is a merry question everybody is interested in! But the one who's answering with 'one word pre-defined stop' is bringing an end to a beautiful saga of life!! Instead equip yourself with a vision, a path. Live in your present, The very next moment is yet to come, the moment you live in is about to go, when you and I, if can't change the past then why let the present change because of it......

What’s your aim? What is your goal, ambition? The one thing you aspire to be, you crave for? All these and many more are the questions asked about the stop that you endeavor for, after your wild chase; a chase for which you thought you were born to achieve! There are just too many amicable quotes which speak about the requisite of having a aim in life, they see a man without clear cut goal as a ship without destination, a plane without pre-defined stop. But is it really necessary? Amidst all the thoughts from corporate giants to merry day to day achievers, do they all begin their journey of life keeping a clear cut goal (I mean stops!) in mind? I believe not to ponder on this because, apart all their thoughts and quotes, they lived their life not to stop at certain goal points but lived it to fulfill all possible ingredients which made their vision possible. The very successful Microsoft begins with a simple vision, a vision to place personnel computing device in every home. In simple words, to make possible, the fruits he (BillGates) savored to be tasted by everyone around!! And most of us today are beneficiaries of that farsighted vision. The situation as of now has worsened, with every one interested in asking above questions and the other one's around to answer them proudly with one word apt replies is actually leaving himself to wallow in his own smugness. People feel proud of finding an end to the journey which begins with their birth. A journey they all will live only to fulfill that one word goal/aim. They will end up doing everything possible to achieve their aim. Interestingly, some achieve it and some not. The point is not in success or failure. We know success brings contentment to heart and failure, despair and gloom but, what next after success? Now, if you look back at the path you begin and ended up with, you will notice, you have sacrificed a lot, left many chances of living life to its brim of ecstasy; in the lure of important meetings and appointments, you have actually forgotten the joy of living. Was it all worth of success? If you could see the days spent in achieving it and days left to enjoy the same, you certainly would end up with a catharsis of peevish about yourself. Everybody of us is enough mature to know that everything in the universe has its own time, even the ice-cream kept unused gets melted leaving spectator baffled at its loss! And quiet reasonably nobody would start his journey just to feel peevish of him/her at end! Will it??
There certainly is no life getting tucked in mores prescribed from age long history. The growing science is abundant with examples wherein people have succeeded in breaking age long hedges to propose their stories and theories which in turn changed the course of world or perhaps of the humanity itself! People today find it difficult to live in present, they prefer rather to live in future peacefully and breathe easily. They ran towards it and when they reach, it’s already present, they run still more, and this 'still more' ends with nothing but the death. Is death then the final goal/aim of life? Why worry than of the years in between? Questions, problems, worries are nothing but perpetual. Only one thing stays with you and me, and, that is life. Lets live it, let us all try living ourselves in present. Don't allow your goals and aims to let go off the merry present in lust of mere illusionistic future. Enjoy the glass of wine in your game at present to its brim of contentment; don't wait for wine to get ripe in time to come. Who knows, time like this might never return! Let your tomorrow's not spoil your bright today's, because, its the today in which you live in not tomorrow!!

Living in present does not mean like an arrow without destination. Come out of such comparisons. By comparing yourself with someone or something; you are actually betraying yourself, the magnanimous you is losing its genuineness and meaning. Aim, goal, destination or stops are manmade boundaries but vision is something which is not definitive but free of clutches and boundaries. When you hear of Mahatma Gandhi or Mother Teresa, you are interested in hearing smithereens of their life not what they have achieved or simply, what was their goal at beginning!? For instance, Mother Teresa had no aim of getting herself awarded with the Nobel peace prize nor do Gandhiji had any wish or ambition of getting himself printed on Indian currency notes. But it just got occurred. They lived for their vision keeping strong their principles and not merely for certification of their aim/goal, whatever you name it. Even then their legacy continued to unravel far and wide. They still live, inspire and fill our hearts with utmost compassion towards humanity even after years together of their departure. Don't think present day world is not equipped with such thoughts or mindsets; we have innumerable examples of such visionaries who lived not to build an empire out of bricks but solicitous concerns about fellow humans. Bill Gates as quoted earlier is such example whose vision of placing a PC in every household made even his empire in bricks, the Microsoft to prosper. There were lot other revolutionaries and gadget freaks at those times but their discoveries were only meant at proving their points or lifting their ante but people like Bill Gates made it possible for each one of us to savor his dreams! They certainly were not ordinary humans but extraordinary giants who thought not of building an empire of material property but dreamed and engineered things that left behind a hard legacy everyone could remember, admire and crave for. In a nut shell, they lived their today's beautifully, without worrying about future or repenting over the past.

Never ever forget!  The very next moment is yet to come, the moment you live in is about to go, when you and I, if can't change the past then why let the present change because of it. There is no future for those who dwell in past nor is there any life for those who only think of days yet to arrive. Its run-of-the-mill traveler who lost his path who discovers new things and places not yet known; the daily passenger simply travels to his destination with no new things to discover or feel proud of! Don't forget, it took a Newton to discover gravitational force, all else were mere buffoons to look at the tree which dropped fruits on their head in mixed thoughts and baffle at it!!
