Indian shame story : Guwahati girl molested on midst of busy street by bunch of 20 heinous men!! But investigation still continuous...

Indian shame story yet again protruded its legs more than anyone
would ever expect! In the midst of a busy Guwahati street, an innocent
girl of 17 years was brutally molested by heinous bunch of 20 men!!
And as always onlookers kept their mouths shut and hands tied... The
most sad part of the act infact is the way issue is being handled by
police and Government. Totally four complete days had been over since
the incident but till now only four people have been taken in custody.

Rape cases, molestation incidents or brutal killings isn't any new to
Indian sub continent but new is the involvement of such large crowd on
road molesting an immature girl. Nobody must forget that heinous act
got highlighted only because complete video of the incident was
uploaded on social networking site www.youtube.com. Only then the
Indian media went frenzy to report the same and all of a sudden
investigation catched speed but still not uncovered all bloody
criminals... All the demons who executed this brutal act could well be
identified in the video but police still claim they are working on it
and all wrongdoers will be brought under law...! Aren't the four days
enough to catch molesters clearly identified in a video tape? Why
government is still on backfoot on this heinous act? Why not an
official announcement? Why onlookers kept their hands and mouths shut?

This is not just another typical molestation story for Indian police
to drag upon, here culprits can easily be identified from video tape,
there is not much work for police of interrogating the crowd. Yet,
they say it is going to take some time... In the era of such high
level of advancement in technology, the mindset of Indian people
hasn't changed even a little bit. We still consider it taboo to go
stop the culprits and save innocent victim, we still can't muster up
enough courage to speak out on this utter sensitive issues, we still
have fear of unknown masses! Why we stop ourselves of stopping an
unhumane act? Is it just because the victim doesn't belong to us or
because of mere illusionistic fear that ruins our humanity.

As far as Indian citizens act or believe in quietly onlooking such
rampant acts, this heinous acts may continue to happen... This time it
was an innocent 17 year old girl, next time it might be some relative
of yours!! Who knows? Its not Guwahati alone which displays such
incidents but everywhere in India it's observed and everywhere the
fear in crowds reigns; people always try keeping themselves safe
letting the victim suffer her unwritten fate! Will we grow up some day
to stop this? My friends, its not important how high we travel in
space or how dangerous weapon we invent till the women of nation are
not safe at public places, we have not at all grown a bit, not even a
slight growth. Whats the use of Lac per month salary when getting home
you realise your daughter or sister has been man handled, molested or
raped by 20 men...... I don't find any joy or pride in it. Do you find
